About the Books:
Teresa Trent is the author of both the Pecan Bayou and Piney Woods cozy mystery series. While both series feature a setting of small towns in Texas, the Pecan Bayou cozy mystery series is set in the Hill Country of central Texas and features helpful hints writer Betsy Livingston as the main character. The latest book in the series, Die a Yellow Ribbon, is scheduled for release in May 2020.
The Piney Woods cozy mystery series is set near the Louisiana border in the Piney Woods area of Texas. The main character in the series, Nora Alexander, is a partner in a historic hotel that has been around since the forties. Die Die Blackbird, the third book in the series, was released in January 2020.
About the Author:
Teresa Trent lives in Houston, Texas and writes the Pecan Bayou and Piney Woods Cozy Mystery Series. She loves to write about small towns and the people in them with an element of humor. She graduated with an English degree from the University of Northern Colorado and taught school for many years before taking up writing. Teresa writes a Down syndrome character in her Pecan Bayou Series because she is a proud mother of a son with Down syndrome and wanted to see one of the best things in her real world also in her fictional world.
